Here's a casual blog of my shoots, outtakes, adventures, and probably what I ate for lunch.
Interesting question! I don’t ever feel like that, mainly because I don’t bring my camera everywhere I go. Honestly, I only use it when I have a legit shoot, that brick is wayyyy too heavy and valuable to bring on daily adventures. I shoot with my phone otherwise, but only when I see the beauty in something! Tons of my life isn’t documented. Going out to dinner with the boys, laughing, spilling soy sauce everywhere, trips to the mall, telling my Mom & Auntie about my day on the porch, heart to hearts and laughs with my friends… I experience it all. And for the things I DO stop to photograph, it’s for a reason! My heart and soul is photography, and a lot of the time I wouldn’t remember that little moment if I didn’t have a picture of it. And I create adventures when I go shoot - I have the fondest memories from all my shoots, even WITH the camera up to my face for at least some of the time. So for me, I definitely don’t feel like I’m missing out with any form of camera in front of my face :) I’m experiencing even more.
